Peter van Druenen (Vlissingen, 1952) is a historian, author, publisher, and Internet pioneer. In 2015, van Druenen wrote Kapers, arbeiders, an urban history of the Dutch city of Vlissingen, which was longlisted for the Zeeuwse Boekenprijs. He is currently working on a study of the scale of migratory movements in the Early Modern Period. He is also active as a director in several cultural-historical and scientific organisations.
