Miek Zwamborn (1974) is a poet, writer, translator, and visual artist. The Thumb-jump, her first novel published by Van Oorschot, was translated into German (Nagel & Kimche) and Swedish (Ramus). The book was nominated for the 2014 Libris Literatuurprijs. 2018 saw the publication of The Seaweed Collector’s Handbook, an exuberantly illustrated book about the history of algae and seaweed, translated into English (Profile Books) and German (Matthes & Seitz).
