Lize Spit (1988) lives in Brussels. She writes scenarios, prose and poetry. Her work has been published in several literary magazines. She is a non-fiction author for an educational publisher, teaches scenario writing, and is a founding member of RAW, a social workspace available for young filmmakers and writers in Brussels. Lize won the Write Now! Competition in 2013 and currently works on a feature film and a collection of poems. The Melting is her debut novel, and it was, upon release, immediately showered with praise in the Flemish and the Dutch press.
