J.M. Coetzee (Cape town, 1940) is one of the most renowned authors of his generation. He is a two-time winner of the Booker Prize, his novels Life & Times of Michael K and Disgrace both received the Booker Prize. In 2003, he received the Nobel Prize of Literature in honor of his entire oeuvre.
