Dorinde van Oort (1946) is the daughter of the author of the Dutch children's books and television series Paulus de boskabouter (Paulus, Gnome of the Forest). She has written articles and novels, and in 2006, she published a book based on her family history called Woman in the Shade. The story of her great aunt was a huge success in The Netherlands, and a translation by DTV made it a bestseller in Germany with the title Frau im Schatten.
In the fall of 2012, her biography on her father came out, called Paulus de boskabouter or The Double Life of Jean Dulieu.
